Nearly every city here in the valley is growing at a rapid pace, and the city of Madison is no exception. In order for residents to keep up with this growth... the city has recently launched a new mapping tool where folks can keep an eye on approved projects, upcoming construction, and openings. "Madison is growing, moving and shaking, we want to make sure our citizens are up to date on all the current information." Samantha Magnuson is with the city of Madison. She says the city is utilizing a GIS mapping tool to be able to show our citizens all of the projects that are happening in Madison. "This particularly focuses on developments that are under construction, that have finished construction or are in the planning phase. So it gives updates to our citizens in real time of what's happening. Our planning department will update these about monthly."
